Vacation rental - penthouse in Zell am See

The exposed penthouse has a total of 95 square meters of living space, is located on the third floor of the residential complex and can be reached via an external staircase. It has a total of two double bedrooms, each with a comfortable box spring bed and a wardrobe; a large bathroom with bathtub and rain shower, a separate toilet with sink and a large living-dining area with an open kitchen.

In the open living-dining area there is a large double bed and satellite TV in all languages.

In the same room there is a dining table with six chairs and a bar table with two bar stools.

The open fully equipped fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, fully automatic espresso coffee machine and other kitchen appliances such as a mixer, toaster and kettle.

There are large glass doors throughout the room through which you can access the terrace and through which you can also enjoy a fantastic view of the breathtaking view from inside.

Apartment perfect for up to 6 people

The holiday apartment in Zell am See is perfect for up to 6 people, but it is also ideal for 4 people or for couples.

At 90 square meters, the terrace is almost as large as the entire interior and the absolute highlight of the penthouse.

From here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view, nature and tranquility. Two loungers, a cozy lounge, a table with six chairs and a parasol are available for relaxing hours on the terrace. So sit back and enjoy the sun and your unique vacation! There is also a yoga mat.

In the driveway there is a carport for your car and a lockable storage room for bicycles. There is also a cellar with a storage room for ski equipment and a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and clothes horse. There is underfloor heating and free WiFi throughout the penthouse.

The entire apartment is child-friendly and pets are allowed.

Our holiday apartment in Zell am See is very quiet but at the same time centrally located on the Sonnberg at 950 meters above the roofs of Zell am See and can be easily reached via a well-developed mountain road. However, we recommend bringing snow chains with you in winter. The center of Zell am See is approx. 1 km from the penthouse and can also be reached via a beautiful footpath in approx. 15 minutes.

The ski area

The Zell am See-Kaprun ski area is one of the most diverse and unique in Austria. This is due, among other things, to its sparkling lake with drinking water quality, its green mountain meadows in summer and its year-round snow-white glacier. In addition, Zell am See-Kaprun is one of the most family-friendly regions in Europe and is also one of the top addresses for international recreation destinations.

The towns of Zell am See and Kaprun are approx. 8 km apart and give the holiday region its name.

As the name suggests, Zell am See lies on the shores of Lake Zell and at the foot of the Schmittenhöhe, while Kaprun nestles against the mountains of the Hohe Tauern and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.

The Schmittenhöhe is located high above Zell am See with 77 kilometers of slopes, five valley runs and one Trass run. The City-Express train in the city is approx. 1 km and the Schmittenhöhenbahn is approx. 4 km from the penthouse.

It is approx. 11 km to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and this is the only one in the Salzburg region that offers guaranteed snow from October to early summer. State-of-the-art mountain railways and Salzburg's highest chairlift take you to over 3,000 meters. Maiskogel in Kaprun is approx. 10 km from the penthouse and is the region's family mountain with 20 km of fun slopes.

Numerous leisure activities can be practiced in the region in summer.

If it gets too hot for you, you can just jump into Lake Zell and take a swim. Or take a boat trip or a bike ride around the lake. There are no limits to leisure activities, so you can simply choose one of the many hiking trails around the lake and the mountains to relax.

The Zell am See-Kaprun Golf Club consists of two equivalent 18-hole courses and can be easily reached on foot or by bike because it is only 7 km away and right on the lake. In summer it is worth visiting the Großglockner because at 3,798 meters it is the highest mountain in Austria.

We recommend a visit to the Tauern Spa, which is open all year round, for relaxing hours in the warm water, because it seems necessary to cool down, or for relaxing in the sauna with a view of the mountains. Tauern Spa is about 12km away, so it's easy to get to by public transport or bike.
